You're You
By: Luce Cada

If there’s one thing you need to be, be you.
Don’t be perfect,
be perfectly imperfect.
Be creative and kind,
be loud and loving,
be whatever you want to be.
Even if the road ahead isn’t crystal clear,
keep going.
Don’t wait, don’t worry
walk straight ahead;
even if the winds toss and turn
and the fog is fuzzy and full,
run right through and you’ll make it to the end.
If you don’t know what’s next,
just take a step ahead,
because all you need to know,
is that you’re you.
By Any Means Necessary

Bronze bellied beasts
Don’t dare dry their swords
For the foul fragrance of the fight
Further fuels fairness in their eyes
And as arbitrary as it seems
Awareness no longer advances answers
Until a hundred hurricanes hammer the heavens
Do answers arrive after
