Originally, I wanted to add a part at the beginning that sounded like the character falling down. It was going to be quite long and grandiose. However, I felt like it was a bit jarring, so in the end, I cut it. The rest of the piece mainly focuses on the "waiting" part. The long notes played by the strings, in particular, convey a sense of monotony due to the notes being dragged out so much. Overall, I had fun writing this piece, and I'm looking forward to more prompts chosen by my fellow outlet inspire members.
