This week the writers explore the confusion that is indecision. Or do they?

Step Up

they said that We are the ones who will change the world

they said that We are the generation that will make that change 

everyone said that, We were so young 

 

We still are young, Our teeth chattering at the sound of bullets 

We still are young, Our voices muffled by the old 

they said We'd make the change, but they took over anyway 

 

but We grew up

but We're nearly too late 

a world torn into pieces, too many to count 

a world slowly melting away 

 

We're still those teens who can't make a decision on what to wear 

so that they don't judge Us

so that We don't judge Us 

 

We're still those people who rehearse their starbucks orders 

anxiously waiting in line 

nervous to call out to the waiter 

 

but, somehow, We're screaming at the top of our lungs 

"don't discriminate" 

"love, don't hate" 

rising above the chatter and clatter 

fixing the world before the ice shatters 

 

this is Our world and We live in it 

We won't let anyone else live in it 

until the world is fixed 

 

Our decision to step up 

Our decision to rise up 

is what makes Our generation 

the generation that makes the change:

 

the last hope

the last generation 

the last letter.

Look, those green fuzzy socks with elves on them- they’re hideous. Like absolutely atrocious. Like oh-my-god-are-you-wearing-kale-on-your-feet type of atrocious. Those red candy cane ones with reindeers on them are way better. Wait, wait, wait, wait- check those green ones again. Oh my god 30% off? That’s kind of a steal not gonna lie, and hey, isn’t that what the holiday season is all about. K what about the reindeer ones. Ten dollars? For fuzzy socks? Pfffff puhLEase. Green ones it is. Agh wait they look really ugly on the model. The eyes get all wrinkly and the elf hats are wrapped around the sole of your feet. Talk about poor design execution. Red ones it is. Waaaaaiiiiiiiiiiittttttttt would it be considered animal abuse to wear these…? Oh my god I’m not a reindeer hunter. But these will be covered by my shoes. But shouldn’t I maintain integrity by making righteous fashion choices, even if they remain unbeknownst to others? Screw it, I'm thinking about this too much. Time to make a mental list of pros and cons.

Red reindeer ones

    • Less ugly

    • Animal abuse?

Okay, in hindsight the animal abuse part is kind of stupid.

    • 30% off

  • Cons

    • Resembles kale

    • Design gets distorted around the foot

Red reindeer ones

    • Less ugly

  • Cons

    • More expensive

​Well in that case, might as well go for the red reindeer ones. Okay, I’m done, finished, completed, fin. Now just get in line and don’t look at the stuff at checkou- OHMYGODTHEYHAVESANTAONES
